Recent Developments

For the first time and in accordance with its new guidelines the ccNSO sent out a first draft agenda for the ccNSO meeting at the ICANN meeting in Cairo. The focus of the meeting will be on security and stability issues as they relate broadly to IDNccTLDs. Sessions are tentatively scheduled on DNS vulnerability, ICANN’s registry failover plan, and a third session on anti-phishing. Regarding IDN ccTLDs, the proposed implementation plan for the IDN ccTLD “fast track” process, and the IDN ccPDP Issues Report will be discussed.

The ccTLD community is requested to propose other items Based on the feed-back received the ccNSO Council will set the agenda for the ccNSO meeting.
