General information
Assignment of rights to 域名 (re-delegation of CORPORATE domain) is made through sending a formal letter to RIPN.
How to pass the documents to RIPN
* All documents necessary for domain name transfer must be brought or sent at the same time (in the same letter).
* The information presented in the letter must be identical to the information contained in the RIPN database.
* The signing date is mandatory in the letter.
* Letters are valid for a period of 2 months from the moment of signing.
* Only original letters are accepted. Facsimile copies of letters are not processed and answers are not sent.
* Documents with facsimile signatures are not accepted.
* The documents must be in English or Russian language.
Re-delegation of 域名 from one organization to another
Re-delegation of 域名 from an organization to an individual person
In these cases a letter is sent to RIPN on behalf of the organization indicated in admin-o field of the form #[域名模板]#. The letter is to be written on a letterhead of the organization and sealed.
* Text of the letter for re-delegation of 域名 from one organization to another is given in Supplement 1.
* Text of the letter for re-delegation of 域名 from an organization to an individual person is given in Supplement 2. Please, note that the form for an individual person, whom the rights of administering 域名 are assigned to, is to contain information of the person-r, passport, birth-date, p-addr fields.
Should present a letter of commitment of the required action, which should:
* be on a company letterhead;
* have a stamp, if the company has one;
* letter should be signed by the HEAD of the organization or the person acting on the basis of a document issued by the Head of the organization which empowers the person to sign the letters concerning 域名 transfer. In this case WE NEED A COPY of the document.
You can use following form of Power of Attorney as a template.
If the advised template does not suit your company, you can change it in order to limit or correct the authorities given to your company representative by this Power of Attorney.
Notice: In case of doubt about validity of documents presented, RIPN has the right to request document copies confirming the authority of parties who signed the documents.
Re-delegation of 域名 from one individual person to another
Re-delegation of 域名 from an individual person to an organization
When a person is designated in admin-o field of the form #[域名模板]#, the letter for re-delegation of 域名 is to be sent on her behalf. Signature is to be authenticated by an official of an organization. The letter is to be written on a letterhead of the organization and sealed. Authentication of the signature by a public notary is also possible.
If the information on a person given in the letter does not agree with that contained in the RIPN database, modifications in the database are not made.
* Text of the letter for re-delegation of 域名 from one individual person to another is given in Supplement 3. Please, note that the form for an individual person, whom the rights of administering 域名 are assigned to, is to contain information of the person-r, passport, birth-date, p-addr fields.
* Text of the letter for re-delegation of 域名 from an individual person to an organization is given in Supplement 4.
Should present:
* a letter concerning commitment of the required action, which should be signed by 域名 name administrator (owner) in person;
* copied pages of civil passport of 域名 name administrator (personal data, information regarding issuance/validity extension of the passport).
The letter is to be sent to the address:

After receiving the official letter by RIPN modifications in the database are made within one working day. You will be informed about completion of modifications to the address given in e-mail field of the form for organization or individual person (admin-o) and in mnt-nfy field of the form for your technical support service.
